14th Annual Manassas Heritage Railway Festival

The Manassas Heritage Railway Festival is a family celebration of the rich railway history that Manassas has to offer. Manassas Junction was the site of both the 1st and 2nd Battles of Manassas during the Civil War and of the nation’s first military railroad. Attractions include a variety of elaborate model railroads; railroad history and memorabilia; living history and folklore; 3 live bands throughout the day; and children’s rides and activities. Tickets for the much anticipated VRE excursion train ride to Clifton and back will be $6.00 (children under 2 years old are free), and will be available beginning Thursday, May 15. Tickets must be purchased IN PERSON at the train depot. Historic Manassas is unable to hold tickets or mail them. The Excursion Trains are run on the hour at 10am, 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm. The trip is approximatey 35 minutes. At 11:30am, 1:30pm, and 3:30pm don't miss the one-man music and comedy of Rick Hubbard and The Kazoobie Kazoo Show on the Kid's Stage!
